I have a 2000 square foot home and want to upgrade my heating and cooling system. What size do I need and how much will it cost?

We can give you a general number to give you an idea, but to be accurate, we need to see your home and spend some time visting with you and your family about your current system and desires for a new system.  First off is sizing.  In order to be accurate, and custom fit a system that will meet your needs for comfort and efficiency, we need to perform a load calculation on your home.  Every home is different. People are always making improvements and even the same house facing North instead of East will heat and cool differently.  We perform a load calculation, based on Manual J, which takes into account the construction of your home, windows, wall and attic insulation, and even what kind of exterior doors you have.  This makes sure that the equipment will heat and cool perfectly and not cost you any more than is necessary to heat and cool your home.  Since we don't know what size your home requires without performing a load calculation, we cannot quote pricing until we know what size you need.  This is why we come to your home and provide a complete proposal process based on the needs of your home and family.  We custom fit a system to your home and family, and provide this professional accurate service free of charge, any day or time of the week.
